Viagra Connect is a treatment for Erectile Dysfunction (ED).
A new study shows there may be no evidence that Viagra could cause side-effects.
The study, which was presented at the annual meeting of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, was presented at the American Society of Reproductive Medicine’s meeting in Washington DC. It was a double-blind, placebo-controlled study, which involved only men and women. The women took Viagra tablets, either 50 milligrams (mg) or 100 mg, an effective amount of sildenafil. They were given a placebo for two weeks before starting the study.
Viagra was chosen because it is a safe drug that can treat erectile dysfunction in men but does not affect the erectile function of women, and can treat the problem of impotence in men. The study showed no significant differences between the two groups in any of the following variables: the frequency of sexual intercourse, the number of attempts to have sex and the length of time that the erection lasted.
Researchers at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas who were not involved in the study said Viagra caused only minor problems in men and the number of attempts to have sex was minimal. Viagra is not a drug for treating erectile dysfunction, but a drug for sexual problems in men and a drug for impotence in women.
“This is a major breakthrough for the field of reproductive medicine,” said Dr. Steven Nissen, a professor of obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. “We now have the evidence to show that Viagra has no sexual or sexual side-effects in the majority of men who take it.”
In addition, Nissen said, the findings also showed that Viagra can improve blood flow to the penis in men with erectile dysfunction, which can be a result of a healthy lifestyle.
“This study was important because it showed that Viagra is not a drug for treating erectile dysfunction in men,” said Nissen, adding that the results may be important in determining if Viagra can also treat impotence in women.
The findings were published in the.
The study was conducted by researchers at the National Cancer Institute, a clinical research and education organization. It is sponsored by Eli Lilly and Company, which made Viagra the drug of choice for the erectile dysfunction drug.
Dr. Jennifer Hargreaves, the Institute’s director of reproductive medicine, said that the results were important because they showed that Viagra can improve blood flow to the penis in men with erectile dysfunction. “We also saw that the effects of Viagra were similar to those of other sildenafil drugs,” she said. “This is the first study to show that Viagra can improve blood flow to the penis in men with erectile dysfunction.”Viagra can cause side-effects in a small percentage of men, including headache, flushing, nasal congestion and dizziness, and there is not enough evidence to suggest that it is safe for use in men. Viagra is safe for use in the general population, but some experts have questioned its safety in women, who may experience sexual side-effects from a different drug.
John R. Smith, a professor of obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, said the results should be considered in men who have sex more than once or for longer than four hours.
“There is not enough research to support a direct causal relationship between Viagra and erectile dysfunction, and I think the results should be considered,” he said. “There is an increasing number of studies in women and there is not enough evidence to support the causal relationship.”
The study was a double-blind, placebo-controlled, cross-over, placebo-controlled study in men who had taken Viagra for at least one year. Participants were randomly assigned to receive Viagra 50 mg, 100 mg, or placebo for two weeks. The men taking the study were given four sexual events per day, including sexual intercourse and the number of attempts to have sex. They also were given a placebo for two weeks.
Viagra was taken three times a day, starting at 10 am and lasting four to five hours. Participants were instructed to engage in sexual activity whenever they felt the least discomfort and to not attempt to have sex more than once during the four-hour interval. After eight hours, participants were given a placebo for four days.
